Correlations between components of the immune system

چکیده

Background: No evidence of the possibility to alter a constituent immune system without directly affecting one its associated components has been shown yet. Methods: A schematic model was developed in which two triggers, fasting and splenectomy, were studied for their ability affect expression cell membrane epitopes cytokine secretion out-of-body autogeneic syngeneic lymphocytes. Results: Fasting decreased CD8 CD25 increased TNFα levels. The effect splenectomy as trigger investigated non-fasting mice by comparing splenectomized non-splenectomized mice. An increase TNFα, IFNg, IL10 noted. Splenectomy had significant on CD4 IL10. To determine keeping cells an location lymphocyte epitopes, tubes kept top cages compared with empty cages. A change secretion, tested decrease noted IFNg. Conclusions: The data obtained from this study characterized induction correlations between transfer mediators. showed that mouse could at distance surface markers following types triggers: and/or splenectomy. Thus, correlation can be induced system.

Basic Components of the Immune System

This chapter is not a comprehensive review of immunology but rather a condensed version of those aspects of immunology that have particular relevance to clinical immunology. Refer to the Bibliography for a more extensive discussion of the role of each component. It is generally believed that the immune system evolved as the host’s defense against infectious agents, and it is well known that pat...
